Kanye West & Kim Kardashian Pass On $3M Offer For Photos Of Their Baby

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West aren’t trying to profit off their still unborn baby, just yet. The couple of was allegedly offered $3 million by a tabloid for first dibs on photos of their bundle of joy when he or she arrives, but they passed on the deal.

TMZ reports:

Sources close to K&K tell TMZ … the couple has been flooded with lucrative deals from magazines clamoring to score baby Kimye’s coveted first photos, with offers ranging as high as several million. We’re told the $3 million offer was from an overseas tabloid.

So far, no cigar. Our sources say the couple has no plans to sell the pics to ANYONE … right now.

We’re told they’re aware public demand will only increase over time — and still might consider offers in the future.

The key word here is that KimYe will be considering the offers, which will surely keep coming, at a future date. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony sold photos of their twins for a $6 million when they were born while Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s twins fetched a whopping $14 million. If photos of Yeezy and Kimmy’s seed demand those kind of prices, it’s hard to believe that the latter’s penchant for making coin could let her pass on that type of deal.

For now, Kardashian is still technically married to NBA player Kris Humphries who refuses to sign divorce papers unless she admits their short marriage was a sham. Too cold world.

Cassidy Advises Meek Mill Not To Respond To “R.A.I.D.”

With “R.A.I.D.” doing numbers in the blogosphere, Cassidy called up to DJ Caesar of Philly’s Hot 107.9 this morning to clarify the “beef” between him and Meek Mill. During the phone conversation, the “I’m a Hustla” MC discusses where the beef stemmed from, how surprised he was by Meek’s decision to diss him on “Repo,” and more. Depending on who you ask, the Internets are buzzing with whispers that the Hustla got the best of the MMG rapper on the latest diss, and it’s clear that he isn’t surprised.”Well you know, that’s what I do. I rhyme; I got bars, so I could just go as long as I wanted to,” said Cassidy, who described the track’s length as organic. “It’s not like a I planned it to be exactly 10 minutes. I just planned to just go in, and get a lot of things off my chest. So, it just turn out to be that amount of time.” Before the beef got taken out of context, Cassidy was quick to add, “I just want everybody to know [that] this ain’t no real street beef like people [are] trying to create it into. I know the media gets entertained off making it into street beef and things like that, but it ain’t nothing like that. ”Everybody know that I was looking out for Meek as much as I possibly could before he got on. Doing songs with him, coming to hold him down whenever he asked me to and things like that. So I don’t want people to think it’s a street beef or nothing like that. I’m just competitive, and I was feeling disrespected lyrically; like he wasn’t respecting the ground work I laid down, the work I put in for Philadelphia, the city we’re both from. I just felt disrespected on that level.” Don’t be confused, though. Don’t see this as Cassidy copping pleas. He actually openly advised Meek Mill to take the high road in this battle, if he knows what’s good for him. “When he came out with a whole song dissing me and all that, I’m like ‘Oh he must be really ready to take it there.’ So that’s why I did the song ‘R.A.I.D.’ to let him know, if you going to step in this field you got to be prepared, ’cause this what I really do. ”And you heard it out his own mouth. I been in over 5000 battles, and I never lost. And I don’t plan on losing. So if you know that information, you should know not to play around with a dude like me.” via:hiphopwired.com

Django Unchained Grosses $100 Million At The Box Office

Controversy and slavery make for box office gold. Less than a month after its release, Django Unchained has reached the $100 million mark. The milestone keeps Django on pace to become director Quentin Tarantino’s most successful film, surpassing 2009′s Inglorious Bastards. Perhaps all of the opposition peaked moviegoers’ interest, as notables like, Spike Lee, have slammed the film. According to the Brooklyn native, the slave-turned-bounty-hunter story line, which infuses both comedy and action, is “disrespectful,” the Black people. Lee refuses to watch the film. Django has also raised eyebrows over its excessive use of the n-word, which is spewed more than 100 times. Samuel L. Jackson who co-stars in the film, had a little fun with a white interviewer trying to get him to say the racial epithet. “Try it!” Jackson suggested, to no avail. “We’re not going to have this conversation unless you say it.” Much of the cast, headed by Jamie Foxx in the title role, has received praise for their performances, which is a good sign going into award show season. Django received five Golden Globe nominations, including the coveted Best Picture nod. It’s expected to be recognized when the Oscar nominations are announced later this week. Since its release on Christmas Day, the film has routinely put up strong numbers, despite missing the No. 1 spot last weekend thanks to Trey Songz movie debut in Texas Chainsaw 3D. via:hiphopwired

Fat Joe – “Angels Say 2″ [VIDEO]

Looks like Fat Joe isn’t going to let some serious troubles with the tax man hinder his rap career, for now. The Bronx rapper drops a video for “Angels Say 2″ off his forthcoming The Darkside 3 album. Joe Crack goes in over the spooky, Hype produced instrumental. “F-ck all you critics that doubt, always talking about me/I got the f-ck out New York, took my talents to South Beach/It doesn’t make me less realer, I’m surrounded by killers,” spits the rapper whose name no longer matches his much slimmer physique. When The Darkside 3 finally hits stores, and online retailers, depends on how much time Fat Joe gets for ducking his taxes. In late 2012, he plead guilty in New Jersey to tax evasion for allegedly failing to pay $700,0o0 in income taxes on earnings he made in 2007 and 2008. The “Lean Back” rapper’s net worth has been reported at $35 million. At the time of his plea, Joe was released on $250,000 bond. He will be sentenced in April and faces up to two years in prison. Considering Beanie Sigel is cooling his heels in the bing for the same issue, it may get very real for the Don Cartagena come this Spring. For now, watch the Eif Rivera directed video for “Angels Say 2″ below.

Game’s Stepfather Claims The Rapper Was A Male Stripper [video]

Game’s stepfather Hodari Sababu has released a documentary capturing the history of Hip-Hop in Compton, California, where he reveals that the rapper stripped in his club. In a Pitchfork documentary, Sababu said that he started a male exotic club where Jayceon Taylor stripped “maybe twice.” He said that 50 Cent will not let him forget it, and that he has advised him not to get up in arms about his past being unearthed. ”Me and Game’s mom, we started a male exotic club,” said Sababu. “What we used to do, we used to get guys that came fresh out of jail, they was buffed up and needed money. A lot of these guys can’t go and fill out a application and get a job but hey, if they look good, they been working out, we put ‘em on man, we get them a thousand bucks a week dancing. ”Jayceon danced there maybe twice, and 50 Cent will not let him forget it,” he continued. “And somehow, somebody got pictures of him dancing in that club with his g-string on and boy, boy, boy. Whether he likes it or not, I tell him the truth. Because just like most people that achieve a certain amount of fame and fortune, that comes with the sycophants or the ass kissers, because they’re around all the time to say you’re the greatest thing. Because most of time, they’re on the payroll. But fortunately, or unfortunately, I’m not on the payroll so I can tell you exactly what I think.”

Chief Keef’s 19-Year-Old Stepbrother Gunned Down On Chicago’s South Side

Chief Keef’s 19-year-old stepbrother Ulysses “Chris” Gissendanner III has become yet another victim of Chicago, Illinois’ shooting epidemic. According to DNA Info (via SOHH), Gissendanner was shot in the back of the head on the Far South Side on January 2nd. The aspiring rapper was killed in a car near 124th Street and South Ave. while visiting his uncle in West Pullman. He later died at Roseland Hospital. Alfonso Cozart, who claims to be Keef’s biological father, was stepfather to Gissendanner, whose rap name was YPN Boomtown. Keef was related to Gissendanner through marriage. Cozart, who no longer speaks with Chief Keef, said that Gissendanner’s murder makes him worry about Keef’s well being. “As a caring father, who wouldn’t worry about that?” Cozart asked. “I do want my son to have success and have a long, positive life, and I hope the best for him.” He added that he doesn’t want Keef’s fame to overshadow Gissendanner’s passing. “He just graduated high school, and was in college and had a job. He was a positive person,” Cozart said. “I’m not trying to get publicity of Chief Keef being my son. I want you to focus on Ulysses. He’s the one that’s gone.” This marks yet another recent death for Chicago teens due to gunfire. Keef’s alleged enemy Lil JoJo lost his life at 16, while Joshua was murdered at 18 years old, both late last year.
