Lil Scrappy Arrested, Momma Dee Poses With “Free Scrappy” T-Shirt [PHOTOS]

This is surely not how the family hoped to celebrate last night’s premiere of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. Rapper and reality show star Lil Scrappy turned himself in today to authorities over a shady urine test. To offer support, fellow castmate Momma Dee was on hand holding a “Free Scrappy” t-shirt.

Yes folks, this really happened.

TMZ reports:

Lil Scrappy is a lil’ jailbird — the rapper-slash-reality star turned himself in to an ATL jail this morning after cops say he refused to submit to a court-ordered urine test … TMZ has learned. We broke the story … officials say Scrappy violated his probation back in March after a dispute over a pee test. According to court officials, Scrappy tried to turn in a urine sample that was cold to the touch and may have been tampered with … and when asked to submit another cup, he refused. The court eventually issued a warrant for his arrest … and moments ago, the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star turned himself in.

The rapper’s fiancee, fellow castmate Erica Dixon, as well as the VH1 cameras, were also on hand to see the rapper off. No word on how long Scrappy will be in the bing. Check out photos from this morning surrender in the gallery. Man, the struggle on Momma Dee’s face is so real.

Future & Rocko To Record Album Together

Future & Rocko To Record Album Together

In recent years, Atlanta, Georgia rapper Rocko (a/k/a Rocko Da Don) signed Future to his A1 Recordings label. It was this label, along with Epic Records, that released the Dungeon Family affiliate’s Pluto and subsequent Pluto-3D in 2012. Speaking with DJ Scream and Cory B’s Hoodtime Radio yesterday (March 24), Rock revealed that the two ATL rappers have much more planned. “Me and Future, we gonna do an album together. We’ll probably drop it at the end of the year, or the top of next year,” said Rocko, who released his Top 25 charting Self Made debut in 2008 on So So Def/Def Jam Records. Asked about whether the project would be retail or mixtape, Rocko replied, “As far as mixtapes, we really tryin’ to flip this thing and monetize all this music now. It’s like, we gave away all this free music, for all this time.” He added, “Support our campaign one time.”

Future And Ciara Are Officially An Item

Rumors have been circulating for a while that Ciara and Future were a “thing” after being spotted out and about together numerous times, but up until now neither had really confirmed the speculations. Coming clean, Future recently stopped by ATL radio station Hot 107.9 to talk about his relationship with Ci-Ci. Here’s what he had to say:

She’s a beautiful woman, amazing, incredible, everything that comes with those words, that’s what she represents. I can tell you, all the negativity that comes with me and her is not true. Our personal lives is our personal lives. Sometimes people present it like it’s true and they think they have facts, but at the end of the day, we know what’s true and we know what’s not true and anything negative from that situation, we [are] not even representing that. What you see is what you get.
We are at a time where, I am on Epic, she’s on Epic, I love music, she loves music. And we love being in the studio with each other. We love being around each other and that’s just what it is. The chemistry is there. It’s amazing. She makes me happy, I make her smile. Anything negative around that is all false because every time you are doing something positive and somebody sees you happy, they want to find something to tear you down. She’s a great woman. I believe at the end of the day, once the media passes over and all of the foolishness goes past, we gon’ be able to be good. And we gon’ be good. It’s only comments, rumors and certain speculations. As long as we have that understanding, no one can ever come between us.
