Mannie Fresh On Big Tymers Exclusion

“It’s kinda like doing a Jackson 5 album with Boyz II Men. Two different eras, great artists, but Boyz II Men is not the Jackson 5. I don’t bash Cash Money, Birdman, or none of them. It’s really on, I’m just striving on just getting what I deserve, you know, what I put in. Honestly I think Drake is a great artist, I think Wayne is a great artist, but they not the Big Tymers.”

I’m too old to be making dis songs. I’m too wise to be making shots at anybody, but my thing is I’m a business man at the end of it. You can call it whatever you want to call it, but you can’t call it a Big Tymers album.”

Trick Daddy & Lil Wayne To Have A Sit Down?

TMZ reports:

Trick Daddy tells TMZ he’s open to a proposed sit-down with Lil Wayne to settle their feud … but what he’s actually doing is throwing gasoline on the fire. In case you’re not up to speed … Lil Wayne went ballistic after a member of Trick’s posse allegedly flicked a cigarette in Wayne’s dreads at a Miami strip club. Mr. Daddy isn’t copping to the incendiary move. Now here’s where it gets bad. Rather than trying to make things nice, Daddy’s logic is … “If I [wanted to start s**t with Lil Wayne] he would have been in the hospital for a different reason than a seizure.” Trick is bitter … claiming Wayne’s gotten him blackballed from all the good strip clubs in Miami … and hey, now all that’s left are the butterface joints. Finally … enter Birdman … who has the good sense to try and defuse the situation between the 2 feuding rappers by scheduling a sit-down happy mealBirdman … He’s like Dennis Rodman, without the North Koreans.

Birdman Gets New “RICH GANG” & “GTV” Face Tattoos [PHOTOS]

Kids, a face tattoo is not for everyone. Take Cash Money founder and CEO Bryan “Birdman” Williams who has an assortment of ink, including two brand new ones, on his mug, for example. He is rich and can pretty much do as he pleases. You, are not. Birdman took to Instagram and revealed that “GTV” and “TRUKFIT” tattoos have been added to his already sizeable face tattoo collection. The GTV, which stands for his Grand Touring Vodka brands, sits above his left eye, while the TRUKFIT logo is on the lower portion of his left cheek.

A few weeks ago, the “What Happened To That Boy?” rapper got a new “Rich Gang” logo tattoo on the right side of his face, which coincides with his forthcoming compilation project titled, Rich Gang. While Lil Wayne was in the hospital, Birdman was adamant that it was working too hard, not a drug overdose, that landed his son in the ICU. Check out Birdman’s new ink, and some of his past work include those infamous 5 star tats on his noggin, in the gallery. Do you have (explain yourself) or would you get a face tattoo? Let us know in the comments.

Birdman & Slim Sign "America's Got Talent" Finalist Sarah Lenore To Cash Money

America’s Got Talentsinger Sarah Lenore has reportedly signed a contract under the YMCMB umbrella. The Detroit-born singer also inked a deal with the Williams brothers’ Money Mack Music publishing company, which will market her music to a wide variety of different media outlets. “Over the past few years I have had the chance to sign with different record labels – but I held off, hoping for that perfect opportunity. My patience paid off when the perfect opportunity came by way of Cash Money Records,” Sarah said of the signing. “I cannot think of a better way to introduce myself to the music industry than to sign to the most powerful and influential independent label in the music industry. The chance to work with Birdman and Slim and have access to their professional team and resources is both a dream and a reward.” Birdman echoed her sentiments, saying, “Sarah is a star in every sense of the word. She is a strong performer, has a beautiful voice and lights up the room. My brother Slim and I have big plans for her. She is glamorous, but also very much the girl next door, and very relatable.”

PUSHA T CONFIRMS DISSING LIL WAYNE AND BIRDMAN ON NEW LUDACRIS SONG

VIBE’s first V-Mix concert took over New York City’s Best Buy Theater on Thursday night (Nov. 29). With headliners DJ A-Trak, A$AP Mob and Pusha T sharing the stage, the event was all about bringing together a variety of musical styles.

Before G.O.O.D Music’s slick tongued MC from Virginia performed his set, Pusha sat down with VIBE to discuss his forthcoming projects, as well as his leaked verse that hit the ‘Net on Wednesday evening. While only a snippet of Ludacris’ “Tell Me What They Mad For” (produced by Swizz Beatz) was made public, a transcription of P’s lethal rhymes was also released. On the song, Pusha raps:

“With your baby mama f*cking every rapper in the business/Niggas saying you was better when the drugs was in your system/Now your crack swag gone ever since u came from prison/Got you tweeting all stupid, is you skatin’, is you dissin”

Though Lil Wayne wasn’t mentioned by name, avid hip-hop listeners were sure he was talking about the Young Money rapper. During P’s exclusive interview with VIBE, he confirmed that he was indeed talking about Weezy and Birdman.

“It’s new and was for Luda’s album,” Pusha told VIBE. He also explained his motivation for the verse. “Oh, because it’s a Swizz beat. You got to blame Swizz. See, when Wayne got a Swizz beat… with the “Ghoulish” track; he got busy, well, he tried to.”

Pusha says Ludacris wasn’t aware he would be taking shots at the YMCMB family and ended up asking him to change his verse upon hearing it. However, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper says he has no plans on doing so.

“I play by old school rules. I play by the fundamentals and foundation of what hip-hop was based on,” Pusha explains on why he rarely mentions his targets by name.

At press time, Ludacris had not yet confirmed if the track would be included on his upcoming LP,Ludaversal.
