Quentin Tarantino Uses The “N-Word” After Winning Golden Globe

Quentin Tarantino won the Best Screenplay award at the Golden Globes Sunday (Jan. 13), but the big news is that the  acclaimed director spewed the “n-word” while speaking to reports. When asked of his controversial slave film Django Unchained, and the excessive use of the racial epithet, he decided to drop the n-bomb to get his point across. “If somebody is out there actually saying when it comes to the word ‘ni**er,’  the fact that I was using it in the movie more than it was being used in the antebellum South in Mississippi, then feel free to make that case,” he said, potentially making the media incredibly uncomfortable. “They are saying I should lie, that I should whitewash, that I should massage, and I never do that when it comes to my characters.” According to reports, the room went silent after Tarantino used the word. Tarantino’s film has been plagued by controversy since the start. Aside from the subject matter, and the word-use, a collection of Django action figures did little to calm the opposition. Yet all of the attention has helped propel the film past the $100 million mark, as it has remained on the Top 10 box office list since its release on Christmas Day.Django has also been nominated for five Academy Awards. via:hiphopwired

18-Year-Old Aspiring Chicago Rapper Joshua Davis Killed For Wearing “Lil JoJo” Hoodie?

The weather is getting cold in Chicago but that doesn’t look like it’s going to slow down the city’s shooting epidemic. Aspiring rapper Joshua “JayLoud Davis was shot and killed on Christmas Day following a dispute with several men, allegedly over his decision to wear a hoodie donning the name of Joseph “Lil JoJo Coleman, who was gunned down over the summer. Coleman was killed following an altercation with Chief Keef’s people. His mother believes that Keef paid someone to kill her son.

Davis got into an argument with several men at around 11:30 p.m. Christmas night, on the 2000 block of West 69th Street, when one of the men pulled out a gun and opened fire. The 18-year-old was shot several times in the torso, as well as once in the ear. He was transported to Advocate Christ Hospital where he was pronounced dead one hour later. “It was my little brother,” Davis’ older brother told local news station, Fox 32. “It was like the other half of my heart, and he gone now.”

The shooting was one of two that occurred blocks apart, the first of which involved a man shooting at his stepfather before police were called. Authorities have yet to arrest anyone involved in Davis’ death. via: hiphopwired

Juicy J Releases “Bandz A Make Her Dance” Video Game

Named after the hit song,  players must throw dollars at strippers to keep them twerking on the pole. If you keep the first stripper up with ease, a second one will begin to dance on another pole and you must continue to make it rain. In playing the game for the past half hour, I will say this: making it rain on four strippers in the game is hard.

If you are into watching virtual women drop it like it’s hot, you might want to head over to the Juicy J site for some fun. Please be advised this is definitely NSFW. So don’t tell my bosses I’m probably going to wind up spending the rest of my work day playing on the low because this is as close to making it rain in the strip club as I want to be. Yeah, I love the strippers, but I’m not trying to help them pay their college tuition in real life. Hell, Sallie Mae is still after me.
