Tahiry Explains Why She Punched Consequence For Joe Budden

Tahiry talks about why she punched Consequence after he struck Joe Budden at their Love & Hip Hop New York reunion show.

According to Budden, Tahiry Jose was the one to strike Cons after the initial hit in the first scuffle. Tahiry recently discussed the details with Hot 97.  “We were basically taking two minutes to walk out because we had two minutes,” she shared in the interview. “They were switching the set. We walked right past him. Then out of nowhere, I feel somebody over my head just hit Joey in the head. Joey was then rushed to the other side of the room by like eight security. Consequence was then running back but they forgot about Tahiry so I caught a good one.” “It was probably a girly-girl punch that him him straight in the face,” she added.  ”It’s human nature. You can’t just attack people and not expect people to react,” Tahiry noted, explaining why she hit him for Joe Budden. “I’m walking with whoever and you’re my dude, you are around me, then it’s either all or nothing. That’s just how I am.”

Joe Budden & Consequence Round 2

Yesterday, Consequence ran up on and smacked his Love & Hip Hop New York castmate Joe Budden in the back of the head sometime during the taping of the show’s reunion episode. Now it seems like there was a round two, and Budden is claiming he got the better of the Queens rapper. ”Yo @ItsTheCons u good or nah ?,” tweeted Budden last night around 11 p.m. “Hope son ight, I was headed home & seen dude talking to police while Jen was crying.. #QueensAllDay tho.” Cons did eventually chime in. ”Cons you pressing charges??? Absolutely Not!!!,”  tweeted, the former G.O.O.D. Music rapper. “Actually I laughed at that sh-t!!!” He then @’d Budden for his final tweet of the night: “@JoeBudden Y’all hit like b-tches #straightlikethat Actually Tahiry hit me harder ni–a. I told the Police that I don’t press charges.” Po po? Charges potentially being pressed? Yeah, someone caught the fade. No word on if Tahiry was around as back up, though. Also, Cons has some light skin vs. dark skin controversy on his hands thanks to one of his rhymes. Last night Budden, called into Hot 97, and told Angie Martinez and DJ Enuff that the reason for Consequence’s ire was the soft spoken confrontation he had with the rapper and Jen the Pen. Budden was adamant that when the reunion show’s taping resumed that he would ask Cons to “step in the bathroom.” So, do you think Joe Budden and Consequence have legtimate beef or is this all just an elaborate ploy for ratings? Joe Budden Addresses Consequence Confrontation, Says He “Wouldn’t Have Taken It Very Far”

Joe Budden Addresses Consequence Confrontation, Says He "Wouldn't Have Taken It Very Far"

Last week, a video was released showing Joe Budden confronting Consequence over comments that he and his girlfriend Jen “The Pen” made during a radio interview. Joey Jumpoff addressed the situation during a sit-down with Shade 45‘s Sway in the Morning, discussing how he allowed Cons to go off on a rant before saying what he needed to say. “I gave him the opportunity to say anything he or his wife had to say to me. … I just wanted to see what was up with him,” he said. ”I wouldn’t have taken it very far at all, where we were. That’s just not smart. But I’m prepared to take care of it.” Speaking on his current standing with his “Love & Hip Hop” co-star, the New Jersey native said that he doesn’t harbor any ill will towards him but that it came as a surprise. “I don’t invited him over for Spades or anything like that,” he said. “I would like to think that we have an understanding, but I mean I thought that prior to that conversation. So I always think that everything is cool until I have to find out things aren’t cool via radio, via media. Hopefully we won’t have issues.” Joe most recently released his third straight-to-retail album No Love Lost. The project, which spawned the single “She Don’t Put It Down” featuring Lil Wayne and Tank, bowed at No. 15 with 30,000 copies sold.
