Jordan Brand is making it extremely difficult for any discerning sneakerhead to save their money. There are two fresh OG colorways of Michael Jordan‘s signature kicks getting retro releases; the Air Jordan 8 (aka “Bugs Bunny” or “Hare”) and the Air Jordan 13 (aka “He Got Game“). The Air Jordan 8 in the Bugs Bunny colorway (called so because cartoon character also known as “Hare Jordan” was rocking them in Space Jam ads) drops on April 20. The actual official colorway is denoted as White/Hyper Blue-True Red-Flint Grey and they will cost you $160. The shoe featured the criss-crossing straps that made the shoe stand out from the pack. The Air Jordan 13 drops sooner, on March 16. The “He Got Game” moniker is thanks to Denzel Washington rocking them in the Spike Lee directed He Got Game. Standout elements of the shoes design include the holographic “eye” near the heal, the leather upper and all around classy look of the sneaker. Expect both of these kicks to jam webpage servers as people try lock down their own pair.

Freeway Ricky Ross Says Nick Cannon Will “Kill It” In Biopic [VIDEO]

Nick Cannon‘s forthcoming dream role has been approved by the man he’s set to portray: Freeway Ricky Ross. In an exclusive interview with Hip Hollywood, the ex-con showered Cannon with tons of praise. Cannon’s portrayal of the former drug dealer is a far cry from his more comedic gigs, including creating Wild’N Out and hosting America’s Got Talent. Ross however believes that the 32-year-old will do an amazing job. “My gut feeling is telling me that Nick is going to kill it,” he predicted. “I believe that he is the next big star, black star coming out, it just seems so right to me right now.” Ross is said to have reached out to the likes of Jamie FoxxLarenz TateDon Cheadle, and Denzel Washington about playing him. He believes that his story is different from films of a similar context, in that there “hasn’t been a drug dealer that has come out and put everything out.” Equally excited about the flick is Cannon. “I’ve been wanting him to play my role since ’96,” he said in a video posted online, further explaining his close relationship with Ross. “We family now, we are going to get this thing right. However long it takes, his story has got to be told.”
