Snoop Dogg Parties In The Club With Suge Knight [PHOTO]

snoopsuge

Yep, you read that right. Snoop Dogg—Snoop Lion if you want to get technical—was kicking it with Suge Knight in the club. Snoop posted a photo of him, the former Death Row Records HNIC and a couple of other guys, but doesn’t say exactly when or where the photo was taken. The “Deep Cover” rapper only included the caption, “N d club wit Suge miss those death row days!” As most Hip-Hop fans know, Suge (as well as Tupac) and Snoop had an infamous falling out with the Blood repping exec after the rapper left Death Row for No Limit. The only thing that could possibly be more head scratching than this photo is if Dr. Dre was in it himself, handing Suge a pair of new Beats By Dre headphones. While we’re on the topic of Snoop, he recently launched a video series called “Dime Of The Month.” The title makes it self-explanatory but just know it involves model chicks, bikinis, a random stripper pole and it’s a game show. Also, Don “Magic” Juan and Hits From The Street (the BET dude) are involved.

Kool Keith Says He Thought Tim Dog's Death Was "A Hoax," Remembers The Former Ultramagnetic MC

In a tribute show that consisted of more than 20 songs and lasted nearly two hours, Kool Keith reminisced with fans in honor of his fallen Hip Hop colleague. On his way to Columbus, Ohio’s Ace of Cups for his scheduled performance Keith was informed of Tim Dog’s death, something he didn’t believe when broken the news. “Tonight, I really thought it was a publicity stunt. It still hasn’t [sunk] in my system,” he said. “I don’t know. I still can’t believe this happened. Once I get with the group, we’ll all really feel it more.” While the show was at its peak and about five songs into his set, Keith interrupted the constant flow of classic tracks for the first time to tell the audience that Tim Dog had in fact passed and asked for a moment of silence for his fallen brother. “Can we just have a moment of silence in the name of Tim Dog, and after that we going to party in the name of Tim Dog?” Keith’s hype man Cito said during the interlude.

Swizz Beatz Buys Ownership Stake in Monster

While Alicia Keys was negotiating the terms of her role as BlackBerry’s global creative director, her husband Swizz Beatz was busy making his own moves in the tech world. News broke today that the producer has purchased a “co-ownership” stake in Monster and will join the company’s advisory board. After providing the audio guts of the Beats by Dre line, it looks as if Monster founder and CEO is looking for a new platinum producer to take the brand to new heights. “The products that we have planned are revolutionary in technology, sound, and style,” said Lee. “We need the talents and reach of Swizz to help bring these products to life in the eyes of the consumer.” For Swizzy, the move marks the latest in a string of business deals with companies like Lotus cars and Reebook. According to Monster, Swizz will “play an integral role in designing the company’s strategy and planning, expanding the Monster brand with partnerships across the globe.”

The One-Man-Band Man said of his new role with Monster:

“Monster has always been a go-to name for music electronics as well as a big part of music culture. Under the leadership of Noel Lee, who is a true genius, the company has literally been changing the way people listen to music for over 30 years. They built an empire, and my job will be to push the envelope – turn the lights of the castle up really bright and help Monster take its next big step forward. There will be some very exciting things happening in the year ahead, so stay tuned!”
