FANTASIA UNVEILS “SIDE EFFECTS OF YOU” TRACKLISTING

Last week, she shared the album cover, and today the official tracklisting forFantasia‘s comeback album Side Effects of You has been unveiled.  Proceeded by the powerful single “Lose To Win,” the set features 13 tracks with features from Kelly Rowland, Missy Elliot and King Los.

There will be a special Target Deluxe version with an additional two songs. The LP will hit stores on April 16. Take a look at the tracklisting below…

Jet Magazine Issues Statement RE: Fantasia’s PissFIT On Her Cover Photo

Fantasia was on the cover of Jet recently and after the issue was released she threw a piss-fit saying how she didn’t like the final image they chose. I mean the article was good and Fanny was able to express herself and speak up but, now she’s pissst…. HMMMM — I say, don’t bite the hand that feeds you! Fantasia posted:

TThis saddens Me!!! It is clear that this picture is 10 Years Old and JET Magazine puts it on the Cover!! After I send them the NEW LOOK AND DIRECTION. . SAD!!! I WANT A PUBLIC APOLOGY FROM JET. Now im not sure if the interview is correct. SEE!! America they and use me as they crash Dummy BUT NO MORE. IF I DONT STAND FOR SOMETHING ILL FALL FOR ANYTHING.

Well, Jet responded to her madness. Here’s what the mag had to say….Statement from Mitzi Miller, Editor in Chief, JET (Friday, February 22, 2013):

“JET magazine is honored to have Fantasia grace the cover of its March issue.

It is unfortunate that Fantasia is displeased with the cover selection, however JET stands by its decision. As standard editorial practice, JET consulted with Fantasia’s team, but reserves the right to select the image we deem as most appropriate for JET’s brand and reflective of the cover story sentiment.

JET continues to root for Fantasia’s success and encourages her fans to pick up the new issue.

Who needs a publicist when you have Twitter?  Fantasia took to social media to air her grievances against Jet Magazine. It seems ‘Tasia is upset that Jet ran a cover photo which was not approved before publication and let the world know:

While some may think Fantasia is being a diva, it’s actual common practice for celebrities to have magazine cover approval.  Especially in light of her upcoming album (“The Side Effects Of You”)   image is everything to the r&b singer.

Fantasia Covers “JET” Magazine, Says “I Am FINALLY Able To LOVE Myself”

Fantasia covers the latest issue of JET Magazine. Fantasia has been criticized by the public for everything from admitting her illiteracy to being involved with a married man who eventually betrayed her. She tells the mag that the past has produced several transformative teachable moments. She also reveals her new life mantra.

On self-discovery:
“I am finally able to love myself. The main thing I wanted in life was peace and freedom; the ability to let go…You could say the stage saved me because when I’m in front of people I carry my pain and soul…That is my salvation.”

On living single:
“I’m single and happy. I have a great relationship with both of my children’s fathers… If you catch me with either of them, we are not together— we are just being good parents. All I’m focused on right now is music and my kids.”

Well with all the negative news printed about Fantasia, it’s great to see her in a place where she is loving herself and feeling happy and free.
