DMX Sued By South Carolina Sports Bar For Failing To Show Up After Getting Paid

DMX is facing a new lawsuit this morning after being sued by a sports bar in South Carolina. According to TMZ, Dark Man was booked to appear on August 25, 2012 at the Owl’s Nest Sports Lounge to do a meet and greet for the bargain basement price of $3000. X failed to show and now the sports lounge wants their money back, plus expenses. Owls Nest filed a lawsuit in a South Carolina court. They’re seeking repayment of their $3000 back, plus $45 for several bottles of gin and $50 for a bartender.
X was arrested last month in Greer, South Carolina for driving without a license.

DMX was arrested this morning in South Carolina for driving without a license. He was detained at County Jail and has been released.

“When I could have just paid the money right there on the spot,” Simmons told FOX Carolina. “Basically it was just five hours wasted for nothing. I don’t have a court date or a court appearance.” He said he also had his five-month-old daughter in the car when he was arrested.
