Allen Iverson’s Reebok Answer IV & Reebok Question “Georgetown” Kicks [PHOTOS]

Reebok is definitely reaping the benefits of signing Allen Iverson to a lifetime sneaker contract. Two more of A.I. signature kicks, the “Question” and “Answer IV,” have gotten the retro treatment, this time in a “Georgetown” colorway. The navy blue and grey colors of Iverson alma mater look crispy on these two versions of his shoes. As you probably know, “The Question” is what the NBA great wore when shaking Air Jordan and the Answer IV is the same model the man some know as Bubba Chuck wore during his MVP season. As for hope of Iverson making it back onto an NBA court, he passed when invited to join a D-league team. Both the Answer IVs and Questions drop next Friday, March 8 and you can pick them up at spots like Foot Locker, The Finish Line, Eastbay and Reebok.com for $125. Check out images of the official Hoya flavored kicks, and Iverson getting his model on, in the gallery. Also, check out Iverson reminiscing about his days giving Big East defenders and whether fits down below. Would you rock either of these?

Allen Iverson Declines Offer To Join Dallas Mavericks NBDL Affiliate

After the Dallas MavericksNBDL affiliate Texas Legends reached out to Allen Iverson in an attempt to lure the former star back into the NBA, the iconic basketball player has respectfully declined the offer. “I thank Donnie [Nelson] and Dallas for the consideration and while I think the D-League is a great opportunity, it is not the route for me,” Iverson revealed on Twitter today. “I realize my actions contributed to my early departure from the NBA, should God provide me another opportunity I will give it my all.”

As reported yesterday, The Texas Legends have tried in vain all year to sign Iverson and ramped up their efforts after their team moved back to the top of the list in the D-League’s waiver line. This move, which was the result of former Legends player Mike James signing a guaranteed contract with the Mavericks, meant they’d have a direct path to signing Iverson if he could be convinced to put his name in the D-League’s player pool. However, it looks like Iverson will not be taking the franchise up on its offer.

“My dream has always been to complete my legacy in the NBA,” Iverson tweeted moments ago. “Not a day goes by that I am not asked when am I coming back, we all must accept my return is not up to just me.”
