Remember that time Katt Williams led Sacramento police on a chase while he was driving a 3-wheel motorcycle? For civilians that would probably mean jail time, but for the troubled comedian it means a lot of community service.

Katt was in court today, where he pled down to misdemeanor evading police … stemming from the wild three-wheeled chase he led cops on last November. Katt had originally been charged with felony evading police … but prosecutors agreed to reduce the charge. As part of the deal, Katt was sentenced to 428 hours of community service to be completed in 9 months — but no jail. Katt’s attorney Richard Schonfeld tells us, “Mr. Williams looks forward to working with the community and moving on with his life.”
Recently, while promoting Scary Movie 5, Williams said he was wants his crown back after Mike Epps said Kevin Hart has become a star in his absence. That and the bizarre behavior fans witnessedf from Williams late last year that included him pimp slapping a Target employee and generally acting up while performing on stage.

Comedian Kevin Hart was arrested early morning on suspicion of DUI after he nearly slammed into a gas tanker while speeding on a freeway … TMZ has learned. According to the California Highway Patrol, officers spotted the comedian driving in a black Mercedes on the 101 Freeway at around 4:30 AM PT. The CHP says he was “driving erratic,” “going 90 MPH” and “almost collided with a gas tanker truck.” The CHP says when they pulled Hart over, he showed “objective signs of intoxication” and was “unable to perform field sobriety tests.” He was booked into a local jail for misdemeanor DUI just before 6:00 AM PT is currently being held on a $5,000 bond.

There appears to be no easier way to get people to go against one another, than on Twitter. Mike Epps used the website to blast Kevin Hart over the weekend, opening the door for a truckload of insults thrown back in his direction. Over the last year, Hart has seen his career take off. Aside from co-starring in the multi-million box office hit, Think Like A Man, the father of two has a hit show on BET, made an appearance on Modern Family, and plans to release a comedy film this summer. Even with all those accolades, Epps doesn’t believe the Philly native would be successful had Katt Williams not gone a-wall. “MAN IF KATT WILLIAMS WOULDN’T HAVE FLIPPED OUT IT WOULD NOT BE NO KEVIN HART,” he wrote. After that, he called Hart “gay,” and likened his face to a “drunk pug.” Hart finally caught wind of the Twitter jabs and went in for the kill. “I just checked my twitter timeline & noticed that @TheRealMikeEpps Has been talking sh-t,” he replied. “Operation destroy u is now in session.” Using the word “destroy” may have been a little ambitious on Hart’s part but he did land a few punches like this quip: Yo @TheRealMikeEpps is one bad movie away from doing SCHOOL PLAYS!!!” Ouch. Nothing like two grown men play fighting each other on Twitter over absolutely nothing.

Last month, Dave Chappelle got the entire entertainment world talking when he playfully spoke with Chris Rock about doing a possible tour together. Chappelle performed a surprise show in New York City and was shortly joined by Rock, Kevin Hart, Marlon Wayans, ?uestLove and Bill Bellamy in a legendary night of comedy that was shockingly not captured on camera except for a few instagram photos. “After next Tuesday, I’m free for like 11 years,” said Chappelle. Rock suggested although he has filming in the works this spring, he’s open to the idea. “I’ve got time between now and the movie,” said Rock. “By Halloween, I could do dates.”
Hip-Hop Wired caught up with Talib Kweli, who was in Austin, TX with Samsung performing at their Galaxy Sound stage for the South By Southwest festival and spoke on the possibility of that tour coming to fruition. “Dave is a friend. I’ve known Dave before either one of us were really known,” explained Kweli, who appeared on Chappelle’s Show and Dave Chappelle’s Block Party. “I do shows with Dave once in a while. Dave likes to have a full theatrical experience so I’ll DJ in-between his sets. Dave will get up and talk at a comedy club for four or five hours some nights.” “He basically does what he wants to do. I think that’s what all of us are striving for,” the Reflection Eternal rapper continued. ”He comes out and he loves doing shows but he does them when he feels like it. He does hang out with Chris Rock, he does hang out with Chris Tucker, he hangs out with a lot of comedians.” While you might have to just pick a night and have a stroke of good luck to see Chappelle live, Kweli says not to count a tour out just yet. “People love to see those type of guys together. I don’t know if they are [going to do the tour]. I ran into Chris Rock the other night, and he was joking about it. He was like “I’m you Kweli and Dave Chappelle is Mos Def. So who knows?”

“The repercussions for saying certain words are harsh, and careers have been shut down. I can understand how people could be affected by certain words and slurs. I get it. My way of showing respect is to not play around with it, not mention it, not joke with it at all. I understand how serious it is.”
On how he feels about making fun of the government:
“I’m afraid of the government. I watched Enemy of the State. That movie scared the s–t out of me. I keep my mouth shut.”

Kevin Hart proved that size doesn’t matter when you have heart and a lot of trash talking on the basketball court. The pint-sized comedian won the much coveted MVP title at the 2013 All Star weekend. Hart helped to lead his team to victory with a final score of 58-38. Hart ended with five points, three rebounds and one assist. Hart’s West Coast team included rapper/actor Common, and former secretary of Education Arne Duncan, who wowed the crowd with his board crashing skills. Hart, currently starring in the BET’s “House Husbands of Hollywood”, took his cockiness to the next level by challenging Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt (who played on the opposing East team) to a race during half-time.
