Though Michelle Williams took the high road when responding to Keyshia Cole‘s mean girl tweets following the “surprise” Destiny’s Child reunion during Beyonce’s electricity snatching Super Bowl performance, Kelly Rowland didn’t hold back her amusement that little Miss Keyshia tried to come at the throne. In an interview with Rolling Stone to promote her 4th solo album, Talk a Good Game, Rowland’s statement can pretty much be summed up in two words: Keyshia who?
You reunited with Destiny‘s Child at the Super Bowl. Keyshia Cole received some blowback for criticizing Michelle Williams‘ performance on Twitter. Do you have any thoughts on her comments?
It didn’t even make it on my radar until other people brought it up. It didn’t even matter. We had a wonderful performance, and that’s all I cared about. I was with my sisters and the three of us matter to each other, and that’s all that counts. We matter to a lot more people, with all due respect, than her. So, I really don’t care what she said. You can keep the change, Keyshia. During the Super Bowl half-time performance, Cole tweeted the following:
Then Keyshia tweeted this pic
Beyonce: Super Bowl 2013 Pepsi Halftime Show
Singer, Chrisette Michele has been hospitalized in New York City with a ruptured appendix, forcing the singer to cancel her show scheduled for tonight.
According to Singers Room:
“Chrisette Michele was scheduled to perform in Times Square in New York City, but the show had to be cancelled due to the singer having to be hospitalized, after suffering from a ruptured appendix.
Chrisette is scheduled to open for Keyshia Cole on the “Woman to Woman” Tour kicking off on March 28th in Westbury, New York to promote her upcoming album ‘Better’ on April 30th.”
“I hate that I can’t perform tonight… But I have no choice. I love you NYC. I swear. Xo,” she wrote, along with posting this photo.
Keyshia Cole isn’t backing down on her criticism of Destiny’s Child singer Michelle Williams, as she unleashed on Michelle on Thursday. This comes after Michelle shrugged off the comments, saying that women should learn to stick together. Keyshia fired back, tweeting “Sounds about right! Cause I didn’t give a s— what she thought about my soul train performance when she spoke her s— RT @UrbanBelleMag: Michelle Williams says she doesn’t care what Keyshia Cole thinks about her SB performance.” She continued, “Gonna say this again! Michelle spoke on me first. So it was open season to state my feelings on her. I always felt that about her. Just never said it. Until she spoke on me.” It’s doubtful Michelle will respond to Keyshia’s diss given her previous comments about women banding together instead of falling apart.
After Beyonce tore New Orleans’ Superdome up with a her performance and the surprise reunion of Destiny’s Child, Keyshia Cole took to the Twitter streets to praise Bey and throw mad shade at the red head step child of DC. Keyshia tweeted, “I think I was frightened to blink for a sec. Then Michell sung and woke my ass up from my daze! She always f*ckN the groove up.” Michelle hasn’t responded to Cole’s jab, but she did post a tweet earlier in the week about not allowing the negativity to take up space in your brain. Though Williams hasn’t said anything to Keyshia Cole, plenty of fans have spoken up on Michelle’s behalf by calling the “Heaven Sent” singer petty and childish.
Keyshia Cole didn’t have to air Michelle Williams out like that on a social media site, but it’s not like she said anything most of Destiny’s Child fans haven’t been saying for years. How many jokes have you made about Beyonce and Kelly treating Michelle like a field slave by only giving her the bridge on a track to sing? How many times have you listened to a DC song only to skip it when Michelle’s part comes on? If everyone loved Michelle they way they say, there wouldn’t be a Tumblr called Poor Michelle. Let’s be honest with ourselves. Obviously, Keyshia Cole is.
Momma Dee of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta appeared on Atlanta radio personality Ryan Cameron’s Morning Show recently alongside Keyshia Cole‘s mom Frankie and R&B crooner Keith Sweat.
In the midst of the two hot moms prancing and dancing around the studio to one of Sweat’s classic hits, something went horribly wrong. Momma Dee suddenly removed her earrings and within seconds, she and Frankie were battling on the floor! Photos + video of Frankie ‘puttin dem paws’ on Momma Dee below…
