The two rap heavyweights, who collaborated on the 2011 ‘Watch The Throne’ album, haven’t seen each other in months so it’s no surprise that they couldn’t keep the smiles off their faces as they greeted each other with a huge manly embrace. Despite the large group of photographers surrounding them, the pals happily carried on with their conversation in the streets of Soho before Kanye headed off to enjoy a shopping trip with Kim.
That didn’t take too long, did it?. The Brooklyn Nets player Kris Humphries has finally granted ex-wife Kim Kardashian her divorce. He allegedly chose to head to the playoffs instead of continuing to fight Kim K. He’s lucky Jay didn’t drop him from the team.
Everyone has been partially following (either by choice, or otherwise) the split between Kardashian and Humphries. It was the love affair that only lasted 72 days, and echoed for longer than necessary. Kardashian has been overtly vocal about wanting a divorce from Humphries both in the media and in jest (peep her takeover of Chelsea Lately, where she politely sons her ex with the help of sister Khloe). Well, the NBA star officially gave up the battle.
Humphries’ rep told TMZ, “Kris and his family are excited to move forward and are grateful for all the support they have received in this process. His commitment to the Brooklyn Nets and the team’s incredible fans is his number one priority and he is excited to head into the playoffs tomorrow with this situation behind him.” The 28-year-old left the situation with no money, and no annulment. Was it worth it? Now that Ms. Kardashian is free from her b-balling ex –and having a baby with Kanye West– does this mean that the two will tie the knot? Stay tuned.

It’s no surprise that Kanye West is not in attendance at tonight’s 55th annual Grammy Awards. Instead, the 20-time Grammy winner chose to take a trip to Brazil with Kim Kardashian to see the world famous Rio Carnival, which kicked off yesterday, Feb. 9, and lasts until Monday, Feb. 11. Where there’s Kanye, the paparazzi are sure to follow, and the cameras were there in influx to capture the G.O.O.D. Music rapper and Kardashian engaging in typical vacation activities. This includes taking photos, taking in the Brazilian culture and visiting one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Christ the Redeemer, atop of Corcovado Mountain in Rio. You know, the things everyone does while visiting Brazil, famous or not.
Interestingly enough, the Louis Vuitton Don also linked up with fellow superstar and Grammy winner Will Smith during a walking tour in Vidigal, Brazil earlier today. Somehow their casual sightseeing led West and Smith to a nearby studio. There’s no word on if this marks the return of the Fresh Prince or future collaboration between the two, but it’s great to see that Kanye West is actively making music. Could this mean Rich Black American is more than a figment of the Internets’ imagination?

It appears that Kim Kardashian and her baby daddy had a “Come to Jesus” moment during their trip to Brazil. The reality TV star and her multi-platinum boyfriend Kanye West were in Rio de Janeiro to take in Carnival and posed like Jesus in front of the famous Christ the Redeemer statue.

After a photo sprung online of what looks like Kanye West’s next solo album, Twitter has been ablaze of Yeezy’s next solo project. While the supposed feature guest lineup would include artists such as Pusha T, Frank Ocean, Beyoncé, Florence Welch, Skrillex and Big Sean, not everything here is as dismissive as most rumors like these would seem. Skrillex has been quoted in the past stating that he would be working with Kanye on his next solo album as well as Frank Ocean. Moreover, a song titled “Perfect Bi**h” appears on this album, a song Yeezy stated in earlier tweets that is about his current girlfriend and future mother of his child, Kim Kardashian. Mr. West was previously the victim of another online hoax involving album details when a website called Black American Psycho with a release date went viral. That website turned out to be nothing but a farce. This picture might be in the same vein as that website, but until it is disputed we won’t know for sure. Check back for more details.

According to RadarOnline, Kim Kardashian is so desperate to divorce Kris Humphries that she offered him a jaw-dropping $10 million to settle their divorce battle, which he declined. A source told the website, “After Kim filed for divorce, she offered Kris a $10 million payoff, with the agreement that he would not continue to pursue an annulment to their marriage on the grounds of fraud.” The source added that Kris turned down the offer, because it’s never been about the money for him, he just wants to have the marriage annulled, which means Kim would have to admit to fraud. “Kris wants to move on with his life just as badly as Kim does – he is constantly getting heckled by NBA players and fans – and he just wants to be able to close this disastrous chapter in his life once and for all. If Kim would just agree to grant him the annulment, they could both move on with their lives.” Right now it seems that the earliest Kim and Kris’ divorce will go to court is June, which means that she will still be married to Kris when she gives birth in July.

No one here in the Big Apple figured the Brooklyn Nets-New York Knicks on-the-court rivalry would be as intense as it is. But, on Monday night it got personal, according to the New York Post. Yesterday evening, Nets player Kris Humphries took to Twitter to take a jab at the Knicks after leaving Madison Square Garden with a 88-85 victory.
Though, J.R. Smith of the Knicks could not resist countering Humphries’ gloating tweet with one of his own. But Smith’s tweet, depending on how you read it, was a bit more personal.
Smith’s tweet has been re-tweeted more than 52,000 times and favored more than 20,000 times since it went live around 2 a.m. this morning.

Smith’s tweet can only be in reference to Humphries’ estranged wife Kim Kardashian, who is now dating Kanye West and is pregnant with the rapper’s child. West performed alongside Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney and Billy Joel during last month’s “12-12-12” Sandy-benefit concert.
Humphries and Kardashian are in a heated divorce battle as Humphries wants the reality star to admit that their 72-day marriage was “staged” and to give him a “public apology.” Sources have told Page Six that Humphries turned down a $7 million offer to “shut up and go away.”
Smith has gotten in hot water over posting to his Twitter account in the past. The Knicks star was fined $25,000 by the league last year after posting a picture of a nude woman to his account and last May tweeted about his potential departure from the Knicks, which he eventually downplayed.
Humphries finished with 11 points and 13 rebounds in 27 minutes off the bench in the Nets’ win.
Smith finished last night’s game with 16 points in 38 minutes, he missed the game-tying trey as time expired.
