During SXSW, Yahoo announced their first international music festival with Hova and King Kendrick as headliners. Dubbed as Yahoo! On The Road, the 21-stop trek begins begins May 3 in New York. The tour continues in the states with J.Cole, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean and Trey Songz will be added to the string of UK shows July 9-14. All aboard.

After going platinum two weeks ago, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ single “Thrift Shop” is now the number one song in the United States of America. Domestically, the record is the first independent rap song to hit the top spot. The last Seattle rapper to go number one was Sir Mix A Lot’s “Baby Got Back” back in ’92. For this year’s event, taking place at Festival Pier at Penns Landing in Philadelphia on June 1st, ?uestlove and Black Thought have selected Naughty By Nature (who will be backed by The Roots), Grimes, Gary Clark Jr., Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Solange Knowles, Joey Bada$$, How to Dress Well, Sonnymoon, Jennah Bell, Trinidad Jame$, Robert Glasper, Lushlife, DJ Premier, Hit-Boy, The Gaslamp Killer and araabMUZIK. “The hardest thing is catching acts that are just getting buzz so you can get them on the cusp,” ?uestlove told Billboard. “I thought instantly that Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were going to be poppin. And just on a hunch, I was like, ‘Alright.’ We hit them and they agreed. Sure enough, after the album came out, they just became unstoppable.”
