Keyshia Cole Throws Shots At Beyoncé

Did Keyshia Cole Throw Shade at Beyonce's New Song?

Keyshia Cole is clearly not a fan of Beyoncé‘s new “Bow Down / I Been On.” The R&B crooner took Beyoncé to task for the message in her new song via Twitter, which of course opened the flood gates of slander. Yesterday, Beyoncé dropped a playful new song where she declares “Bow down b-tches” in the lyrics. Although she doesn’t name names, it seems like Cole took offense. ”Can’t stand when people all self righteous when it’s convenient it makes them look good. Lmao! But can still talk sh-t when convenient 2 FOH,” tweeted Cole. “I  done kept it real from the start! #RespectTHAT.” She continued, “First “Women need to Stick together” now bitches better Bow. Smh. But it’s all G! Chicks stay shooting the sh-t. But when I speak my mind its a prob. #Well #StayMad.” The Beyoncé stans came out the woodwork thanks Cole having the audacity to question the musings of the Queen. The “Let It Go” singer has even started RT‘ing some of the more volatile name calling aimed in her direction. Worth noting, about a half hour after that first Tweeted aimed at Hova‘s wife, Cole announced that she would be appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight at 11:30pm ET. Coincidence?

Kelly Rowland Responds To Keyshia Cole’s Tweets: “Destiny’s Child Matters More Than Her”

Kelly Rowland, Keyshia Cole

Though Michelle Williams took the high road when responding to Keyshia Cole‘s mean girl tweets following the “surprise” Destiny’s Child reunion during Beyonce’s electricity snatching Super Bowl performance, Kelly Rowland didn’t hold back her amusement that little Miss Keyshia tried to come at the throne. In an interview with Rolling Stone to promote her 4th solo album, Talk a Good Game, Rowland’s statement can pretty much be summed up in two words: Keyshia who?

From RS:

You reunited with Destinys Child at the Super Bowl. Keyshia Cole received some blowback for criticizing Michelle Williams performance on Twitter. Do you have any thoughts on her comments?

It didn’t even make it on my radar until other people brought it up. It didn’t even matter. We had a wonderful performance, and that’s all I cared about. I was with my sisters and the three of us matter to each other, and that’s all that counts. We matter to a lot more people, with all due respect, than her. So, I really don’t care what she said. You can keep the change, Keyshia.  During the Super Bowl half-time performance, Cole tweeted the following:

Michelle Williams can add “reality star” to her ever growing resume.  The Destiny’s Child member will star and produce “My Sister’s Keeper.”  The show, which will be distributed by Entertainment One Television will follow Michelle as she prepares to release her third gospel album, as well as balance her family and personal life. In a press release, Michelle shared: “Working together on my new gospel album and television series, I am excited to share with everyone a behind-the-scenes look at the inspiration and journey of recording for the album, performing, fun family times and other unforgettable experiences out together with my dear sisters.” In addition to her guest cameo in Beyonce’s epic Super Bowl halftime show, Michelle is currently on a nationwide tour of the Tony Award winning Broadway musical “Fela.”
