During a random check of ID’s it was discovered that Choppa was a wanted man. He was taken in to custody and remains there awaiting extradition back to Lousiana. According to The Sun, it was still not clear what Choppa was in trouble for specifically but the New Orleans Times-Picayune has reported his charges as simple battery, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and extortion. All of these charges are apparently stemming from incidents that took place last September.

Lil Wayne Tweets That He’s “Feeling A Lot Better” Thanks Fans For Prayers

Lil Wayne was released from Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles yesterday, and is feeling “a lot better,” according to a post on his Twitter page. Weezy went online earlier today to let the world know that he’s recovering, after suffering a series of seizures last week. “I’m feeling a lot better and again thk [sic] u all for ur love and prayers. It was truly felt…pause.” The message was retweeted more than 12,000 times, favorites over 7,600 times, and preceded by a Tweet about sports, possibly proving that the New Orleans rapper posted the message himself. Amid reports that he was read his last rights and had been put in a coma, the 30-year-old (allegedly) sent out a suspect tweet to calm everyone’s nerves.  Instead the tweet backfired, mostly because the absence of a picture made it hard for the public to believe his words. Plus, a bunch of crafty Internet stalkers traced the geographical location of the post, concluding that there was no way Weezy sent it from his hospital room. A few days later, Young Money president, Mack Maine, was asked about the mini-scandal and claimed to not know who was actually behind the tweet.  “I’m not sure if he tweeted that or not,” he admitted. “I wasn’t with him at the present moment. One of his fans could have tweeted that, I’m not really sure where it came from.” While that mystery remains unsolved, at least Weezy’s feeling better.

Pittbull Responds To Lil Wayne Comment “Dam Pit Bull Bro I thought U Was Kool”

Lil Wayne And Pitbull Discuss Their Beef On Twitter

Young Money general Lil Wayne has started reassessing the people he thinks are his friends. Miami rapper Pitbull recently dissed Weezy for making disrespectful remarks about the city of Miami. Once Wayne was made aware of the diss, he initiated a conversation on Twitter with Pitbull to try to solve whatever problem they have. Pitbull recorded a diss record called “Welcome To Dade County” over the Bauuer track “Harlem Shake.” In the song Weezy gets roasted by the Cuban rhymer for making disparaging remarks about the Miami Heat. In the song Mr. 305 growled, “Don’t sh*t where you eat. When we show love to those that get their city destroyed by a hurricane and then they come down here…” Once Weezy heard the diss track he posted, “Dam pit bull bro I thought u was kool.” Never one to hide his feelings, Pitbull responded to Weezy with, “@LilTunechi I am cool papo but imagine me sh*tting on anything new orleans which I was just there for super bowl the big easy I loved it.” Pit followed that up with, “@LilTunechi the world shows me love and vice versa but miami is all I got no disrespect just the truth.” The New Orleans native Lil Wayne and Pitbull became friends when they first worked together on Pitbull’s 2005 remix to his single “Dammit Man.” Since then, they both appeared on one of DJ Khaled’s first singles “Holla At Me Baby.”

Lil Wayne Could Care Less About Uncle Luke’s Opinion Of Him [VIDEO]

Lil Wayne is still on his honesty tour. Late last week, the rapper called into Miami’s 99 Jamz, to talk about sleeping with Chris Bosh‘s wife, and blasting the entire Miami Heat team. The move resulted in a blog post from Miami native Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell. Campbell called for Rick Ross to put Weezy in line, and when asked about the rant, and backlash from the city, the New Orleans native didn’t really care. “I can’t change nobody’s personal opinion. I can’t change nobody’s personal view,” he said. “I can just keep doing what I do and keep putting food on the table for my family and that’s what I’m going to do, no matter what.” Although he hasn’t read Campbell’s commentary, Wayne is aware of how the former 2 Live Crew leader,  and others in the city, feel about him. “Ever since I got out here there were billboards saying ‘Lil Wayne go back home,’ and I never did anything.”  felicia Monet, the DJ interviewing Wayne,  denied ever seeing said billboards. Backlash or no backlash, Wayne has no plans of leaving Miami, because it has too much to offer. “This is Miami, I can’t move. Ya’ll got the best skate weather ever, down here. The main thing I really want to get out there is that I do apologize for the misunderstanding to the city of Miami. I love everyone here, it’s just I’m passionate about sports and I felt very disrespected, that’s all. I felt very, very, very disrespected.”

Peep Weezy’s words below.
