2 Chainz Arrested For Weed Possession, Cops Asked For Pics [PHOTO]

Allegedly, some Maryland police officers have no sense of chill or professionalism. 2 Chainz was arrested in MD last night for weed possession. But the kicker is that police officers asked to take photo with the Def Jam rapperTMZ reports that 2 Chainz  was nabbed around 10:00pm last night. A white van the “I’m Different” rapper was travelling in for a show at the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore along with six people was pulled over by state troopers in Easton. 2 Chainz was the only person that was arrested (he claims he only had a “grinder” on him, no the “green”). The rapper was taken to the local police station and released shortly, but not before posing with officers for a photo. Now the Hair Weave Killer is pissed because he insists the only reason the photo was taken because they asked. If this is true, how do you tell arresting officers “No” to such a request without fear of reprisal? 2 Chainz took to Twitter to vent his frustration. ”UMES we on the way , dam police f-ckn wit a ni–a , we fina turnUP. Locked me up and then Wanted pictures smh,” he tweeted. “We to jail for a grinder??? REALLY???”

TMZ reached out to authorities and reports:

We asked the Maryland State Police WHO ASKED to take the photo … and a rep for the cops told us, “We cannot confirm who initiated that at this time.”

Ummm … how hard would it be to ask the cops??? Interesting Point — 2 Chainz posed the pic on HIS Twitter page … meaning it was most likely taken by someone in 2 Chainz’s camp … which would mean the rapper probably initiated the shoot. Oooooor … the cops took the pic and sent it to 2 Chainz. Something’s fishy here … Despite the hold up, 2 Chainz made it to the UMES homecoming in time perform a  whole set.

Police Shot At Chief Keef Prior To 2011 Arrest

Police Shot At Chief Keef Prior To 2011 Arrest

Details have emerged in Chief Keef’s arrest in December 2011 stemming from an incident where he pointed a handgun at officers. According to DNAInfo.com, Keef left his grandmother’s home holding a coat over his hands in front of his waistband. A policeman stopped to question the rapper, who dropped the coat, flashed a blue-steel handgun and ran away. Officers chased then 16-year-old Keef, who turned around several times and pointed the gun at them. The policemen “discharged their weapons,” but missed. They caught him a half-block later and recovered the pistol, which was loaded. Keef was charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a firearm on a police officer and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. He was also given a misdemeanor charge for resisting arrest. The “I Don’t Like” rapper will return to court later this month for a probation violation hearing forconducting an interview at a gun range and failing to complete his GED before deadline. If he in fact violated his probation, it is unclear how much time the 17-year-old would serve. In some cases, underage felons are detained with adults at Cook County jail. via:hiphopdx

Chicago Police Issuing Citations For Hanging Chief Keef Posters

Police in Chicago, Illinois are seeking to issue citations to individuals who are hanging up posters advertising Chief Keef’s Finally Rich around his Englewood neighborhood. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, people have been putting up advertisements for the young rapper’s debut, releasing December 18th. Chicago Police union Vice President Daniel Gorman described the acts as a “smack in the face” to police officers. “It seems as if he’s being hailed a hero,” he said. “But it’s a smack in the face to the police officers who are serving the citizens of those communities.” Chicago Police Commander Kevin Ryan noted that this isn’t a personal attack on Keef, who is currently on probation for pointing a gun at a policeman. “We used to do this when I was commander in [a downtown] district,” he explained. Keef’s manager, Rovan “Dro” Manuel, disagreed, stating that this is in fact an issue with the rapper. “I don’t think it’s fair,” he said. “If they [don’t] do that with Britney Spears, Madonna, the Goo Goo Dolls, why do they have to do that to us? ”I think they’re targeting Chief Keef a little bit for more reasons than one,” he continued. “He’s a spokesperson for Englewood, they had problems way before Chief Keef. When something bad happens they want to put it all on him.”
