Wu-Tang Reunion Experiencing Problems

Wu-Tang Reunion Experiencing Problems

Despite the fact that it was reported that the legendary Wu-Tang Clan will be reuniting on record this year to release a new album called A Better Tomorrow, there may be some unforeseen trouble regarding the project. A strange tweet from the official Wu-Tang Clan Twitter page seemed to indicate that the in-fighting between individual group members has resurfaced. “Well the mighty Wu-Tang Clan let there solo managers ruin the 20th anniversary campaign.,” someone tweeted from the group’s Twitter account today (April 30th.) The group hasn’t released an album since 2008, largely because of in-fighting between the members.

Marco Polo Ft. Tragedy, Lil Fame, Adrian Younge & The Delfonics “Stand Up” (Remix)

newport authority 2-cover

Says Marco: “I did a remix for “Stand Up” off the brand new Adrian Younge presents The Delfonics project (who am I big fan of, y’all should cop anything he’s a part of.) Adrian sent me the album early and I made this beat. Tragedy was originally gonna lay down one verse on this on some freestyle sh*t, but once I started hearing his bars I refused to let this be a one verse song! Three verses later and appropriate hook by Slap aka Fizzy Womack aka Lil Fame we have the “Stand Up” remix. Tragedy will have an alternate version of this song on his upcoming album as well. Now please enjoy the final leak from Newport Authority 2!”

Ghostface Killah Blasts RZA for Recent Lack of Music Quality

Ghostface Killah Blasts RZA for Recent Lack of Music Quality

XXL Magazine chopped it up with Ghostface Killah recently, who had some harsh words for his fellow Wu member, RZA.  While RZA has expressed his desire to have the Wu-Tang reunite in the near future, Ghostface spoke openly about how he was disappointed in RZA’s 2007 work, “8 Diagrams“, as he felt that project didn’t properly reflect RZA’s talents or potential.

“8 Diagrams, I couldn’t stand it ’cause I know us, and then I know my man [RZA] even more.  I’m like, ‘Yo, how could you give our f*cking people that?’ Now you had people that said, ‘Oh no, I liked it.’ That might be the ‘yes men’ n*ggas. You know what I mean? Or it’s a miss or something ’cause I know how we can be. These motherf*ckers wanted the skits. They wanted to feel like they at home with us. They wanna feel like, ‘Y’all didn’t hear this in a long time. What y’all got now?’

“I saw him give other n*ggas fly samples from Nas to Busta Rhymes. Busta Rhymes sent me some sh*t, I said, ‘Yo, where you get this from?’I went to RZA. I told him I wanted this box right here. He gave us some fly sh*T’…pay for the sample RZA. Pay for the sample. So what they gonna take this and things, but the people want that from us right now. Pay for the f*cking sample. RZA’s my brotha for life. That’s my brother-in-law. I got babies by his f*cking sister. But what I’m hearing, I’m not saying I’m the best, but I’m consistent about my sh*t. So what you gon’ roll with? The n*gga that’s being consistent or – even though he taught me a lot of sh*t but it’s like is your sh*t still – the way y’all been making these cakes for the past 30 years. Entenmann’s. Are y’all still making those kind of cakes? Or Little Debbie‘s is coming up blowin’. C’mon man, that’s not that crumb cake, n*gga.”

Raekwon: Method Man Had Most Passion in Wu-Tang

Legendary Wu Tang rapper Raekwon opened up about music allowing the members to get off the streets when “M.E.T.H.O.D. Man” blew up, and Raekwon revealed that everyone thought Method Man was the most passionate group. Raekwon also revealed that in the beginning the group was happy if just one member made it big, and they used Method Man’s good looks to get noticed.
