Two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and 12-time Pro Bowler for the Baltimore Ravens, Ray Lewis, will officially join ESPN as a NFL studio analyst. Lewis, who ended his legendary career after leading his Ravens to winning the Super Bowl in his final NFL game, will join Stuart Scott, Steve Young, & Trent Dilfer by traveling to the site of each week’s Monday Night Football game where he will offer analysis during the pre-game Countdown and post-game SportsCenter. Lewis will contribute to Sunday NFL Countdown throughout the season and make a weekly appearance on ESPN Radio’s Mike and Mike in the Morning. “ESPN is such a big part of how fans watch and experience sports, especially the NFL, so I’m excited to join their team,” Lewis said in a press release. “I’m ready to bring the same level of passion to this next phase of my life as I brought to the field during my years as a player. I can’t wait to work with my new teammates, many of whom I’ve already known for years.” The 17-year NFL veteran will also have the opportunity to host specials similar to Jon Gruden’s QB Camp series. He is expected to start on August 1.
Pilar and Deion Sanders have been in court battling it out for a while now. The two are still in court with an on-going custody case on their hands. Neither one is letting up. Deion was pisssssssed yesterday during a hearing because ole’ boy walked out! Deion had an angry outburst in the courtroom on Friday when his ex Pilar accused him of using steroids. Deion stood up and shouted “Oh God” before he jetted out of the courtroom. We’re hearing that the jury was removed from the courtroom. Deion’s attorney, Rick Robertson, said the Super Bowl champion never used steroids and it has no place in this child custody case. While Pilar’s attorney Larry Friedman, claimed the issue was relevant, because Deion allegedly had the drugs in a closet that was accessible to the children. Wow, this get’s more and more interesting! I am waiting to see how this will play out. The judge ruled the testimony should not be presented to the jury.
After court Deion, tweeted:
“A Lie don’t care who tells it. The Truth will prevail. Truth.”
Though Michelle Williams took the high road when responding to Keyshia Cole‘s mean girl tweets following the “surprise” Destiny’s Child reunion during Beyonce’s electricity snatching Super Bowl performance, Kelly Rowland didn’t hold back her amusement that little Miss Keyshia tried to come at the throne. In an interview with Rolling Stone to promote her 4th solo album, Talk a Good Game, Rowland’s statement can pretty much be summed up in two words: Keyshia who?
You reunited with Destiny‘s Child at the Super Bowl. Keyshia Cole received some blowback for criticizing Michelle Williams‘ performance on Twitter. Do you have any thoughts on her comments?
It didn’t even make it on my radar until other people brought it up. It didn’t even matter. We had a wonderful performance, and that’s all I cared about. I was with my sisters and the three of us matter to each other, and that’s all that counts. We matter to a lot more people, with all due respect, than her. So, I really don’t care what she said. You can keep the change, Keyshia. During the Super Bowl half-time performance, Cole tweeted the following:

Michelle Williams can add “reality star” to her ever growing resume. The Destiny’s Child member will star and produce “My Sister’s Keeper.” The show, which will be distributed by Entertainment One Television will follow Michelle as she prepares to release her third gospel album, as well as balance her family and personal life. In a press release, Michelle shared: “Working together on my new gospel album and television series, I am excited to share with everyone a behind-the-scenes look at the inspiration and journey of recording for the album, performing, fun family times and other unforgettable experiences out together with my dear sisters.” In addition to her guest cameo in Beyonce’s epic Super Bowl halftime show, Michelle is currently on a nationwide tour of the Tony Award winning Broadway musical “Fela.”
She gets it from her momma. Beyoncé finally revealed the face of her and husband Jay-Z‘s daughter Blue Ivy. Unless you’re the staunchest of curmudgeons, you’ll probably say the kid is adorable. Beyoncé also took to Facebook to post a side by side pic of one of her own baby pictures and a still of Blue Ivy’s taken from her interview with Oprah Winfrey. “Her and I.. She’s My Road Dog, She’s My Homey & My Best friend,” read Beyoncé’s caption. Although there are scant traces of the Jigga Man in Blue Ivy, she is pretty much the spitting image of baby Bey. It will be a busy weekend for the Pop and R&B diva even though she isn’t booked to perform at a Super Bowl or an Inauguration. The HBO documentary she directed about herself titled Life Is But A Dream premiers Saturday night at 9pm ET. But before that, fans will be watching the OWN Network where her episode of Oprah‘s Next Chapter airs at 8pm ET.
